About Technical Assistance
The Northwest Piedmont Council of Governments, upon request, offers management and consulting services to member governments. Areas of assistance include strategic planning and group facilitation, technology and telecommunications, grant writing and administration, intergovernmental review, and statistical data and information. These services help counties and municipalities operate more efficiently and effectively.
The strength of the Local Technical Assistance department is flexibility. Responding to the particular needs and request of local governments is a specialty.
Since the Department was established in 1994, the staff has worked on and initiated a variety of projects and programs. The NWPCOG provides a wide range of services and will continue to develop its local technical assistance capacity in order to assist member governments.
